LANDSCAPE RULES Landscape rules consist of the rules set forth in Article IX of the CC&R, section 9.5, as well as the pertinent rules in our Rules and Regulations. In addition, Landscape Committee can, subject to the Board's approval, adopt, amend and repeal rules and regulations know as Landscape Rules. These may be posted below, but always contact the Landscape Committee to verify that you have the latest information.. LANDSCAPE RULES (in addition to those referenced above) It is the desire of the Board of Directors of Chico Oaks to maintain an organic effect in the landscaping of the common area. The board would also like to avoid plants that are likely to cause problems. With this in mind, residents who would like to purchase and install plants in the common areas adjacent to their units should prepare and submit to the Landscaping Committee a landscaping plan. Unless there is a persuasive reason for planting something different, choices of trees and shrubs should be limited to the list of preferred trees and the list of preferred shrubs. FYI: COLORS OF THE CHICO OAKS Light gray is: Kelly-Moore 92-756CH "Gray Whale" exterior flat acrylic Dark gray is: Kelly-Moore 174 "Charcoal Gray" exterior flat acrylic The closest Kelly-Moore Paints store is at 1221 Mangrove Avenue, Chico 345-2466. This is not an endorsement. It is strongly recommended that a mildewcide be added to the paint.
